Uninstalling applications |
|
When you install an application in Windows 95, it places the necessary files in many different places on your hard drive. You can't remove all of a program by simply erasing the contents of its main subdirectory. To uninstall the application--and remove all the files it placed on your hard drive--you must run a special program that should have been included with the application. Many applications do not include the "uninstaller" program, although, to be certified under Windows 95, the uninstaller program must be included. |
